It's Ramadan Buffet review again. Yes, yes! Yours truly had been here and about, scattering every place to share with you the best places for you to try your Ramadan Buffet. So bear with me a little. Lol 😂
This time around, I'm going to share a familiar place I've done a review before. Kontiki at The Federal Kuala Lumpur. This year, Kontiki celebrates our rich culture of Malaysian cuisine to celebrate this season of togetherness and gratitude from 8 April to 2 May 2022. And the theme for this year is called Juadah Kampung Buffet Dinner.
Ample of spaces, meticulous table setting with great ambiance, so you can enjoy your food with friends and family with great ease and not worrying about the S.O.P.
At Juadah Kampung Buffet Dinner, Kontiki's Team of Chefs has prepared a magnific buffet dinner spread of traditional Malaysian dishes which includes varieties of Japanese and Western favourites to choose from.
It also features authentic Kampung delicacies and traditional delights that will ignite your palate with favourite local flavours such as local recipes from traditional favourites to the famed hawker fares, Including ever-lasting favourites from Tunku’s Kitchen belonging to Malaysia’ beloved first Prime Minister, Y.T.M. Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj. That's something you should try and experience yourself.
The Favourite Dishes from the Tunku’s Kitchen or Hidangan Kegemaran Dari Dapur Tunku, most importantly, this legacy cookbook is The Federal Hotels International and The Federal Kuala Lumpur’s tribute dedicated to our Malaysia’s beloved first Prime Minister or our Father of Independence, Y.T.M. Tunku Abdul Rahman. There are 4 menus to rotate daily, so can experience different favourite dishes every day.
Enjoy a full range of food stations, serving a vast of Malaysian, Asian, Japanese and international favourites like satay, noodles, and soups to the roast station. Every menu is cooked with a distinctively Malaysian of age-old kampung recipes, and rending cooked in great aromas of spices, homely made by traditional flavours that have been passed down through generations.

The roast station serves a variety of meat selections to suit your taste for the day. Live craving personally by the chef. There's Roasted Whole Lamb Or Lamb Leg, Roasted Beef Carving, Kebab and comes with assorted condiments for you to choose from like Black Pepper, Mushroom, Rosemary, BBQ, and Apple Mint.
Don't worry. You can also opt for vegetarian for those veggie taste buds. Kontiki has it all set up for everyone!
There's also fresh seafood for you to chow down too ! Check out the size of the prawns!!
At the dessert corner, Kontiki serves both traditional kuih to western desserts, amazingly delicious and mouth-watering. There's biscuits, pickled fruits, bread puddings, fruits, dodol and more.
Don’t forget to compliment the aftermath of food with a great cup of Kontiki's beloved popular Teh Tarik. It's so rich and creamy. You'll definitely go for more. Do't forget to get a taste of your own Ais Batu Campur and Ice Cream too!! Customize it by your own and enjoy the ice cold dessert!
Don't forget to try their soups as well. Sup Gear Box is superb! Sweet Corn and Crab Meat is a must-try.
