As a Melophile myself. I have to admit that listening to Anson Seabra songs really brings back all those sweet turmoil memories of when I was younger, growing up having all these feelings inside. The slow melodic piano tunes give a relaxing yet deep meaning to each lyric in each song.  His songs 'That's Us', " Trying My Best' and ' Walked Through Hell' cut deeps in my buried memories.  But hey, put me aside!  Have you, yourself ever heard about this sensational  American musician Anson Seabra before?

Anson Long- Seabra is from Kansas City, Missouri native, an emotive singer/songwriter, He makes artfully crafted and philosophical, piano-driven pop. He emerged online in 2018 and built a fan base with songs like "Broken" and "Emerald Eyes."

Seabra started taking piano lessons at age six and played in school bands growing up. After high school, however, he pursued a computer science degree in college while continuing to write and record his own songs. After graduating, he accepted a job as a software engineer on the East Coast, but never let go of his dream of making music full-time. 

In 2018, he left his job and began posting songs online. He developed a following, amassing over 190K YouTube subscribers and almost as many on other streaming services where his songs like "Last Time," "Broken," and "Robin Hood" went viral. In 2020 he released his debut full-length effort, Songs I Wrote in My Bedroom, which included the hit single "Trying My Best."


And now this amazing singer-songwriter, Anson Seabra has released his new comforting single “Keep Your Head Up Princess” out now. In the salubrious track, written and produced by Anson himself, his voice lulls softly singing, “Know these voices in your head will be your downfall / I know it gets so hard but you don’t got far to go / Yeah keep your head up princess it’s a long road / And the path leads right to where they won’t go,” he reassures, “I know it hurts right now but I know you’ll make it home.” Stream/listen to “Keep Your Head Up Princess” HERE.


The song is the title track for Anson’s new EP Feeling For My Life out this Friday, October 15th via Virgin Records. The EP will feature 9 tracks, including previous releases Dominoes,” “Magazines,” and It’s Raining, It’s Pouring.” It will also include a new track “Lucky Charms,” a collaboration with notable songwriter Amy Allen (Halsey, Harry Styles, Selena Gomez).

This past June, Anson showcased his raw talent with his television debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show performing a stripped-down version of his viral single Walked Through Hell. Anson’s single, “Walked Through Hell has amassed 94 million global streams to date. Earlier this year, the track was featured in Grey’s Anatomy and entered number one on Billboard’s Top TV Songs chart.


Anson has been highlighted by Atwood Magazine, Ones To Watch, and others. He was featured in this year’s People Magazine’s influential ‘Artists To Watch’ who raved about his single “It’s Raining, It’s Pouring,” stating that Anson gives it “…a Seabra twist,” and describing it as a “somber track.”

Anson is currently supporting Alec Benjamin’s 26-show, North American Fall Tour to promote the upcoming release of his EP Feeling For My Life.
