The month of Ramadan will arrive soon and everyone can't wait for the arrival of this glorious holy month to perform acts of worship. For non -Muslims, what they anticipate is the Ramadan bazaar to enjoy the various dishes and food provided at the Bazaar once a year. 

Also not to be missed are for business owners or the food and hotel industry to promote tasty and attractive menus to attract customers to their premises. 

Hence, today I’ll be sharing with you about Swez Brasserie’s ICIP-ICIP KAMPUNGKU Buffet Dinner at Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur. 

Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur will be bringing back the all-time popular Icip-icip Kampungku buffet dinner at Swez Brasserie,all-day dining restaurant throughout the month of Ramadan with various festive treats and room specials.

There are more than 100 dishes served on the buffet, including local traditional Malaysian cuisine plus 15 action stalls which are led by Chef Dennie and Chef Hafiz. 

This year we bring back out signature Traditional Roasted Lamb stuffed with Arab Rice, Soup Gear Box Berempah (Spiced), Nasi Lemak Kukus Daun Teratai and Venison Rendang. “ said Chef Dennie

 

The Soup GearBox is a flavourful soup which is slow cooked for 5 hours ensuring tender and juicy beef with huge bones. The soup is thick and anyone who tries it will enjoy it until the last sip. I’ve enjoyed my bowl of Soup GearBox and was up for seconds too ! It is so appetizing and slurp-worthy ! 

Another highlight is the Nasi Lemak Kukus Daun Teratai ( Steam Coconut Rice wrapped with Lotus Leaves ) . The rice is cooked with fresh coconut milk and steamed while wrapped in lotus leaves. The result is that you get a fluffy rice texture. The nasi lemak is served with Ayam Goreng Berempah which is cooked using sous vide technique to ensure its juiciness and maintain its tenderness. 

The buffet spread also features the local favourites including Rendang Rusa ( Venison Rendang) , Ikan Patin Kukus Asam Limau Kasturi, Popis Goreng Kelapa Manis , Laksa Kuah Putih, Sambal Udang dengan Belimbing Buluh, Burung Puyuh Berempah, Masakan Kawah and many more. 

The Masakan Kawah stall features Gulai Telur Ikan, Masak Lemak Siput Sedut, Rendang Daging Tetel, Kari Kepala Ikan Merah and Gulai Tunjang.

You really have to try the Masak Lemak Siput Sedut and the Rendang Daging Tetel. It is soooooo delicious !! I swear !! 

Also be on the lookout for varieties of kerabu , serunding and lemang at the Kerabu Station. There's Kerabu Mangga, Kerabu Ikan Bilis, Kerabu Kupang (mussels) and more .

They have wide selection of desserts that are oh-so-mouth-watering !! Pandan Jackfruit Mousse Cake, Chocolate Walnut Mud Cake, Cheesy Coconut Chocolate Banana Apam Balik, Pengat Nangka Madu Bersago, Kurma, Dodol, Malay Tradisional Kueh also available like Karipap Kentang, Koci and more. 

Personally I love the Pandan Jackfruit Mousse Cake, Apple Crumble Pie and the Koci. The Pandan Jackfruit Mousse cake might sound bizarre to some but do try it and you will be amazed on how wonderful the combination taste together.
