It's food sharing again. Yes, yes I know. I've been posting a lot about food and places to eat this Ramadan but that's why you're here right? 😂 Well, today I'm gonna share a new place I've discovered recently in Bangsar. 

I love Chinese food and to find a Chinese Halal restaurant that is similar to my grandma's cooking is quite hard. But now I'm satisfied and grateful as I have found a wonderful place called Chopsticks by Muhammad Oon!!

They actually had operated for quite a while in Taman Tun Dr Ismail and this outlet in Bangsar is just newly opened this year. If I have only known before, it would definitely be a regular place for me to enjoy my Chinese heritage food without any doubt.

A talk about the history of Chopsticks by the owner

Derived from the culinary tradition of the Malaysian Chinese palate, Chopsticks by Muhammad Oon offers Malaysian Muslims a choice to indulge in uniquely refined traditional Chinese recipes. 

Presenting a menu of more than 100 traditional Chinese delights,  Chopsticks by Muhammad Oon accommodate the latest Chinese Muslim cuisine to satisfy almost all palate, from sweet to flavorful and delicate to sophisticated. 

With the verge of increasing food craving culture, Malaysian Muslims are no longer restricted by the limited selection of eateries, especially after a day fast during the coming Ramadan spirit.

And for this coming Ramadan, Chopsticks are open for Ramadan Dinner! You can choose from the Ramadan Special Set Menu or order ala carte to suit your appetite cravings.

Starting the meal with Chopsticks' appetizer such as “Fried Chicken Lobak with Tofu” or “Otak-otak” to kickstart your tastebud and indulge yourself with the main course selection such as Chopsticks “Signature Hokkien Mee” or “Spicy Creamy Butter Chicken” for the individual connoisseur. 

A wide array of ala-carte dishes for families or friends’ get-togethers serving seafood such as Chopsticks chefs’ unique recipe “Signature Nyonya Steam Fish”, “Salted Egg Squid”, “Nestum Oats Prawn” and “Kum Heong Lala” to a simpler dish such as “Sweet & Sour Chicken” and “Ginger Spring Onion Beef”. 

A plate or two of vegetables and tofu such as “Baby Kailan with Garlic” and “Ma Po Tofu” almost complete the meal with a recommended soup of choice. 

“Spinach with Goji Berries” or a “Cincalok Omelette” as a side dish. Last but not least, Chopsticks must-try long lost recipe “Lin Chi Kang” to quench your thirst accompanied by a creamy “Mango Pudding” to bring a sweetness aftertaste home.



They also serve Kurma and their new ' Air Soda Bergembira' for you to enjoy and quench your sweet cravings this Ramadan. 


I recommend you to try the Cincalok Omelette, Kum Heong Prawn, Salted Egg Prawn, Marmite Chicken and the Silky Smooth Seafood Tofu. I mean OH MY GOSH, it really lives up to its name. I just can't get enough of it. But basically, try it all!! It's satisfyingly delicious! Top-Notch!!

I will absolutely come again to satistisfy my Chinese Heritage cravings here! It's definitely not a place to be miss out!
