Hey All 💓

How is everyone? Hope you all are in great health and still practicing good hygiene okay ?! 👍

Well, as some for my international readers. Summer is nearly everyone’s favorite season in the 4 seasons country but as for Malaysia , we only have one season and that’s Summer all year long. 😅 But initially the summer heat has increased and it’s starting to creep upon us too! and now’s the time to start preparing yourself for it.

With that, you should also start thinking about how you can prepare your home for the summer! There’s a decent chance that many people are going to be spending their summers at home if this lockdown never ends, and you should try to make the most of it just in case!

So why does a home need to be prepared for summer? Well, while summer is joyful and warm, dealing with bugs and sweat while you’re trying to relax can make it quite an unenjoyable experience.

Installing Air-Conditioning

If you haven’t gotten it installed already, having air conditioning installed in your home can be a game-changer. The summer heat can be unbearable if you haven’t taken measures to keep your home cool, and that’s not something you should have to deal with!

If you’ve already had it installed, be sure to check it! You don’t want to have to call an air conditioning repair company in your time of need! Summers lately are seemingly getting warmer and warmer, so without air conditioning, it can make your summer into a nightmare!

With the heat comes the bugs, and without the proper precautions, they’ll be coming into your home! For most people, bugs are a pest and the last thing you want to find in your home.

If you want to protect your home from bugs, make sure you invest in some anti-bug devices! A bug net for your windows and doors, bug spray, and aloe vera for bites! You can’t stop every bug from entering your home, but you can certainly help the situation by using bug repellents!

Or better yet, call a pest control if you see any early sign of bugs invading your house to minimize the damage later.

Prepare Your Garden

If you’re lucky enough to have a garden with your home, then now’s the time you should be clearing it up and making sure it’s ready for relaxing in! There’s no better place to spend calm better days than in your garden, and you may as well if you’re quarantining! Getting rid of any junk, and doing some gardening in preparation for the sun can save you from having to do it in the summer heat!

Even if you’re not quarantining, having a garden ready to host guests for barbecues, picnics, and meetups, in general, is a fun and relaxing experience for everyone! There’s nothing quite like having family and friends over to share the afternoon with.

Being said that, I know that working on your home can be hard work, and no one wants to spend their winter painting their home or cleaning the place. Spring is the best time to be doing outside work before it gets too hot so that you can enjoy a fresh start for the summer!

If you take the time to prepare yourself for the summer, you’ll be thanking yourself when you’re cool and relaxed, without having to worry about too many bugs or too much heat inside your home!

Hence, I hope with these tips you will have a better, relaxed summer day at home this year. If you intend to spend the summer outside, please do take care of yourself and remember to practice the S.O.P to protect yourself and others.

Have a great Summer and stay safe !!!
